WORKS OF THE GLASSMAKER
Apart from a few exceptions, glass was used for thousands of years mainly for the production of jewelry and vessels to beautify life and to edify the rich.
Glass: a fascinating material
Transparent, glittering and infinitely versatile: glass is fantasy, art, technology, culture, history and modernity. And the glassmakers, glass refiners and gallery owners who deal with the subject of glass are just as varied as the shapes, colors and possible variations of glass.
craftsmanship
Anyone who values unusual design, quality and careful workmanship and is looking for something special will find what they are looking for here. The visitor will not find any bargains here, but selected beautiful vessels and objects for their own home or as gifts.
Glass: smooth and translucent, highly malleable and sparkling in the light
We use glass to drink from and pack liquids. Glass lets light in and keeps the wind out. Bits and bytes flit through fiber optic cables at the speed of light and transmit information. Glass is one of the most versatile materials there is - and one of the oldest (approx. 3,500 years old).

the glass dagger,
The Venetian glassmakers created a perfidious murder weapon: if someone was not killed immediately by the stab in the back, they died an agonizing death when the tip broke off in the body and led to poisoning.
As you can see, our dagger has no point.
It was reproduced as a replica by the glassblowing workshop in Hamelin, the glassmaker Rene Jacksch.
